This feature will allow a Team Lead to create a message to display to all EPP Users.
To access the feature; open the Settings menu and click on Broadcasts:
On the Broadcasts page you can see all the currently active, or future broadcasts created:
To create a new broadcast click on the “Add Broadcast button; the following must be entered:
- Message start date: from when should it show for users (this is in UCT time)
- Dismiss date: when the message will stop showing (also in UCT time)
- Message: what will display to the EPP users
This is what it will look like on EPP:
More than one message can be active at a time, they will then automatically slide from one message to another on the EPP website. Users will also be able to switch off a broadcast by clicking the X in the top-right hand corner.
The Admin Portal Team Lead user can also stop a message from displaying by clicking the options next to the message (ellipses) and selecting Dismiss Broadcast:
