Payment-related activities, requested by Operations users, must first be approved by the Supervisor user before they can be actioned. The Supervisor can access any requests that still need to be reviewed from either the list of Request Pending on the Dashboard, or by navigating directly to the Request Log in the Logs menu.
Only Supervisor users can approve requests. Requests can be reviewed and approved or declined via the Request Log.
There are two ways to navigate to the Request Log:
1. By clicking on the view more button below the request summary on the dashboard:
2. By expanding the Logs menu and selecting Request Log:
The list of all requests will display on the Request Log screen, you can filter by the status Pending to view only requests that still need to be Reviewed:
Click on the request to see more details. Note that the details vary according to the type of request (e.g., payment creation, removing a recipient, or cancelling a payment):
The requesters note is displayed for your review, and you can decide to Approve (1) or Decline (2) the request. When you decline the request, you must provide a Decline Note (3) as this will be displayed to the requester:
Once you have finished reviewing the request, it will remain in the log, but the status of the request will update from Pending to either Approved or Declined (depending on the outcome of the review):
